Blaze~ Interactive Field Trips and Tours

Terms and Conditions:

For each of our field trips or tours Blaze-Interactive Field Trips and Tours (Blaze-IFTT) will accept responsibility for providing all the transportation services and items described and agreed upon in the Tour Contract. To the best of our ability and to a reasonable standard we will complete the confirmed itinerary selected for your group’s tour.

While all our field trips and tours are booked online, by phone, in-person, or by posted letter they are confirmed on a First-pay first-served basis. The customer that pays first is scheduled first. Also, although Blaze-IFTT attempts to provide safe, comfortable, and timely road travel our field trip and tour duration may change due to unpredictable weather, traffic, and unpredictable road conditions. Field trip and tour routes, prices, and additional fees will be correct at the time of booking, but they are subject to change prior to the tour departure time. For example, if your group requests a change to your confirmed and scheduled itinerary you may be charged an additional cost to your group’s tour price. Blaze’s tours are designed with structured itineraries, but we allow for flexible time schedules and a tour group’s, but not an individual passenger’s, occasional change of plans. Blaze-IFTT wants its customers to have a relaxing, inspiring, and positive experience.

In the interest of ensuring customer safety and the safety of all of our crew Blaze-IFTT reserves the right to terminate any field trip or tour when we feel it is necessary to do so. To ensure our customers experience a reliable and as-safe-as-possible tour we require the following rules, laws, and behavior to be followed at all times:

All children 17 years-of-age and under must be accompanied by an adult. Prior to any children traveling on a tour the adult or parent guardian of those children must provide legal identification showing proof of the adult’s age. In compliance with California Vehicle Code Section 27360, children under the age of 8 must be secured in a car seat or booster seat… And children under 2 years of age need to ride in a rear-facing car seat.

No firearms, illegal weapons, and/or illicit drugs are allowed on any of Blaze’s field trips and tours. No alcohol in any open container will be allowed on board any of Blaze’s tour vehicles, but alcohol at various destinations or venues may be purchased and consumed by adults 21 years-of-age and older. Unopened bottles of alcohol may be transported on Blaze’s tour vehicles, but must be stored in our designated secure locations. With an itinerary that is confirmed to mainly visit wineries (a wine tour), no person under the age of 21 will be allowed on the tour. Additionally, no smoking is allowed in or within one hundred feet of any of Blaze-IFTT’s field trip and tour vehicles.

During any field trip or tour all our customers are to behave in a publically acceptable and lawful manner. If at any time during one of Blaze’s tours we feel it necessary to remove one or more of our customers from our vehicle and/or tour, to protect the safety of other passengers, the general public, and/or any of our crew we will do so. If the removal of a dangerous passenger from any tour group is unavoidable and necessary for our company to take, this may result in the total termination of the tour that passenger belonged to, and with no refund to that group’s tour price. On all occasions Blaze-IFTT will try to resolve any unacceptably poor customer’s behavior or tour dispute in a kind, reasonable and peaceful manner. Any illegal Disorderly Conduct and/or violation of federal, state, or locals laws by any of our customers will not be allowed. If any passenger violates the law this may result in Blaze-IFTT terminating a field trip or tour with no refund to the customer group in which that passenger belongs to.

Cancellation Policy:

Up until three calendar days (72 hours) prior to your group’s confirmed and scheduled day of travel (travel day) you may cancel your field trip or tour without being charged any fee. After three calendar days, but before your group’s confirmed and scheduled travel day, any field trip or tour cancellation by your group will result in you being charged a 50% Cancellation Fee. You will be refunded only half of your group’s confirmed field trip or tour price. If your group cancels your field trip or tour on the confirmed and scheduled travel day you will be charged 100% of your group’s confirmed and scheduled field trip or tour price. You will receive no refund. If unsafe or unfortunate circumstances arise where Blaze-IFTT is forced to cancel a field trip or tour, such as terrible weather conditions, travel restrictions, and/or a personal emergency your group will receive a full 100% refund. We want our customers to be satisfied, but our company also acknowledges unfortunate stuff happens.

Waiver and Release of Liability:

Although Blaze-IFTT’s primary objective is to provide our customers with a comfortable, positive, and inspiring touring experience we are not liable for any customer’s illness, injury, delay, loss, and/or damaged personal property. While we want our customer’s to experience a relaxing and healthy journey we will not be responsible for passengers who get lost or fail to show up at designated pick up locations and at designated pick up meeting times. Group passengers who fail to return to our tour vehicle or pick up locations on time will become responsible for their own transportation and return to the original contracted tour beginning or tour end location. Additionally, any passenger who fails to meet at a designated pick up time may be removed from the tour. In the case of illness or injury during the time period of one of our field trips or tours Blaze-IFTT will provide as much care as possible, and as affordable general assistance as possible, to those passengers in need. We value the well-being of all our passengers, and it is very important to us that all our tour groups experience a safe and acceptable journey.

Any passenger inflicting physical damage to other passengers, to Blaze-IFTT’s crew members, to the tour vehicle, and/or to the destinations or venues we visit may be removed from a tour. If any damages occur, the tour group for which that negligent passenger belongs to may be held financially responsible for any damages. Upon completion of the tour these additional Damage Expenses may be assessed and charged to the negligent passenger’s tour group.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Blaze-IFTT nor any of its owners, directors, employees, agents, or partners will be liable for loss or damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or your group’s inability to use, the systems, and/or facilities or services offered through our company’s website, including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damages, loss of date, income, profit or opportunity, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties even if Blaze-IFTT has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damages, or such loss or damages were reasonably foreseeable. Additionally, all adult members are required to sign Blaze-IFTT’s Release of Liability waiver before boarding and traveling on any of our field trips or tours.

Tour Contract:

Prior to boarding and traveling on any field trip or tour all adult members of a customer’s group, all individuals 18 years-of-age and older, will sign the Tour Contract and a Release of Liability waiver provided by Blaze-IFTT. By signing the Tour Contract each and every adult member of the customer’s group is acknowledging they have read and/or accepted Blaze-IFTT’s Terms and Conditions. Additionally, the adult or parent guardian for any children (minors 17 years-of-age and younger) will provide the names of all children under their supervision, and this same adult or parent guardian will also accept full responsibility for the safety and well-being of all the children under their supervision throughout the full duration of the field trip or tour. For each child, this same adult or parent guardian will have completed and turned in a Waiver for Minors form along with a Release of Liability waiver provided by Blaze-IFTT. Prior to any customer signing the Tour Contract Blaze-IFTT’s Terms and Conditions are subject to change, but all booked and confirmed customers will be notified in advance of any changes. To expedite the Tour Contract process we recommend having all our required Release of Liability waivers completed and returned in advanced of the confirmed and scheduled travel day.

It is to be understood that all Blaze-IFTT’s formal tour contract communications will be done in English… And that throughout these Terms and Conditions the words “passenger” and “customer” are interchangeable …as-well- as the words “field trip” and “tour”.                                                       (8/23/2017)
